Dr. Luis Ramon V. Rodriguez (LRVR)
President
Dr. Luis serves as the Founder of several medical companies under Karl Group Holdings Corporation, advocating for quality integrated healthcare, simulation in medical education, biomedical services, and healthcare IT. Brands he built include Zammeds Medical System, Philippine Medical Depot, Innovare Techne Systems, Medlab Service & Calibration, ICAHST Training Academy, and JAR Mednet Diagnostic Lab. LRVR completed a Masters in Development Management at the Asian Institute of Management, an executive course in Organization Development at Ateneo De Zamboanga University, and a Lead Auditor training at TUV Rheinland after finishing his MDM.
He completed a Certificate in Health Administration (CHA) and a post-graduate course in Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) at the University of the Philippines. With over 30 years of experience, he has been involved in setting up multiple 100-bed hospitals and managed care centers and has expertise in Strategic Operational Management and Business Development.
As a medi-preneur, he founded several organizations, including the Biomed Society of the Philippines (BSP) and the Medical Device Association of the Philippines (MDAP). Dr. Luis is an ENT-Head and Neck Surgeon with a career in Integrative Medicine. His interest in genetic medicine led him to establish partnerships with genetic companies across Asia, the USA, and Europe, and he advises on Medical Tourism.
Last 2021, he completed a transformational mini-MBA training course in Biblical Entrepreneurship Program, given by Nehemiah Project International Ministries, USA. Reliving the memories of his dad, mom and sister, he always quote, Philippians 3:14, “ He who began a good work in you, will be faithful to complete it in you until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Ms Cindy Chong
Vice President
Cindy is the CEO and Founder of HorecaBid, an AI-powered SaaS platform for supply chain and procurement in the healthcare and hospitality sectors. With over 25 years in strategic management and business development in IT, she aims to connect buyers and suppliers across the ASEAN region, empowering SMEs and improving access for hospitals to better pricing and medical products.
Cindy previously held leadership roles at dbix Group, where she secured multinational contracts and provided high-performance IT solutions across various industries. Her experience in launching businesses equips her with industry insights and resilience.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Business Administration, specializing in EDP Auditing, from San Francisco State University, CA, USA. Additionally, she is a Certified Blue Ocean Strategy Affiliate and speaks multiple languages, including English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Hakka, and Cantonese.

MS. Edlane Mahusay Ulama
Corporate Secretary
Edlane has over five decades of experience since 1983 in secretarial, administrative, human resources, and executive roles across various sectors, including food manufacturing, engineering, and healthcare.
Her roles have included executive secretary and purchasing officer for a large shuttle bus company, property custodian for a USAID infrastructure project under Parsons International, and recruitment for Saudi Aramco, where she sourced candidates, conducted final interviews, managed salary offers, and facilitated the deployment of engineers in design, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects.
In 2003, she was the executive secretary and data protection officer for the Private Hospitals Association of the Phils., Inc. (PHAPi). After 20 years of service, she retired at 63 in January 2024, but decided to continue working by co-founding Hope Asia Inc.

Mr. Lawrence Koh
Auditor
Lawrence is a Healthcare Supply Chain professional with 30 years of experience in Procurement and Logistics across hospitals and clinics in Southeast Asia, China, and the Middle East. As the Executive Vice President of Group Purchasing at Health Management International, he managed group procurement for three hundred and five-hundred bed hospitals in Malaysia and an ambulatory specialist centre, along with a group of GP and specialty clinics in Singapore. Previously, he was the Executive Director of Supply Chain at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, overseeing a team of a hundred specialists at the 350-bed hospital.
Lawrence is a member of Pul Alliance Digital Health & Equity (USA), a Supply Chain consultant with Intermedika Consulting (USA), and a Senior Advisor (Healthcare Operations) with TVM Capital Healthcare, Singapore. He is the Founder and CEO of Asia Healthcare Logistics, an independent consultancy in Singapore focused on hospital Supply Chain and Materials Management for both green-field and brown-field hospitals. As a regular speaker at various conferences, Lawrence shares his expertise in healthcare procurement, data analytics, and supply chain management. He is also a certified HRDC trainer under the Ministry of Human Resources (Malaysia) and a lecturer at HMI Institute for Health Sciences in Singapore.

Ms. Jo Ann
Treasurer
Jo Ann is a seasoned healthcare executive with over two decades of experience in hospital administration, financial management, and organizational leadership. As the current Director of the Adventist Healthcare Department at the Southern Asia Pacific Division, she provides strategic oversight and guidance to a network of healthcare institutions across the region.
Her leadership journey includes key roles such as Senior Vice President for Finance and Operations at Adventist Medical Center – Bacolod and CEO of Adventist Hospital Calbayog. Jo Ann successfully passed the Philippine Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination, underscoring her strong foundation in financial governance and accountability. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is also a Fellow of the Philippine College of Hospital Administrators (FPCHA), where she has held key leadership positions.
Known for her commitment to mission-driven healthcare, Jo Ann champions institutional sustainability, quality improvement, and leadership development.She places a high value on financial stewardship and is deeply passionate about designing cost-effective, ethical, and mission-aligned procurement strategies that support clinical excellence and long-term viability.
Her work reflects a deep dedication to aligning operational efficiency with compassionate, patient-centered care—making her a strong advocate for transformative healthcare leadership in the region.
